Ridgecrest Gun Range is on 170 acres of privately owned property. 8 miles South West of Ridgecrest and 5 miles South of Inyokern. 140 miles NE of Los Angeles along routes 14 and 395. At the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. |
The Public Ranges consist of 3 separate ranges. 1st - 100 yard pistol range. 2ed - 300 yard and 600 yard rifle range. 3rd - 300 yard rifle, pistol, and shotgun range. |
Firing lines are covered for shade. The Firing lines are concrete slabs, with holes to set up shooting benches. |

The Range is available for individual shooting or to rent for shooting competitions. |

The Range wants to thank the Friends of NRA for donations of over $100,000 to make this range happen. Without their help this range would never have been built. We also want to acknowledge; Tom Wiknich who had the original idea for the range and purchased the land with his own money, and the countless volunteers who helped make the range a reality. |
